One of the ways to run your diesel vehicle on vegetable oil is to convert it by adding a second fuel tank, installing extra heated fuel filters, switches and heated lines. This conversion basically allows you to start your vehicle on diesel fuel and when the used or waste vegetable oil heats up, you then flip a switch and the engine then runs on 100% used waste vegetable oil.

The conversion process includes adding heaters, both on the fuel lines and possibly in a second fuel filter, temperature sensors to let you know when your vegetable oil is heated properly, fuel line heaters right before the injectors and switches for both the fuel line and return lines that allow you to switch between diesel fuel and vegetable fuel.
