Run on Used Vegetable Oil Fuel Mix, No Conversion Needed
One of the easier ways to run a diesel vehicle without converting it is to run on a used or waste vegetable oil fuel mix. The used vegetable oil is normally mixed with diesel or kerosene along with some diesel fuel additives like Diesel Kleen and fuel stabilizers. This is a more cost effective method of running on waste (wvo) or used vegetable oil since there is no conversion to the vehicle needed, a cost savings of at least $1000 or more.
The ratio of waste vegetable fuel to kerosene or diesel depends on the weather conditions and the type of diesel vehicle you run. The colder it gets, the higher ratio of diesel or kerosene you add to allow the engine to start.
